There are only a couple of weeks left in which you can order items from the Occasions catalogue and be able to earn free SAB items. I will be placing an order on Monday, March 30 so let me know what you want.
Also be aware that the 2013-2015 In-Colors will be retiring in April so if you like the colours: Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Canteloupe, Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush, I suggest you order the corresponding supplies - particularly the re-inkers so that you can continue using your ink pads.
To make up for the loss of earning Blendabilities during SAB, Stampin' Up! has added some extra items "while supplies last". For those of you who love embossing folders, there are several of those. See them now.
Also, check out the Weekly Deals (click on the menu tab under my blog header) as there are embossing folders on special there as well.
And one more thing - I'm hosting the One-sheet Wonder class on March 29. It is a fabulous class so check it out here.
Here is another video for you. This one is a card using the Nature's Perfection stamp set.
This is what I would consider a collage card in which you create a background on the card. Again I used Blendabilities to colour in the flowers and the butterfly. Enjoy the video and the supplies I used are listed below.
I have a new video for you. I used one of the four new Sale-A-Bration items, the stamp set For Being You, to make a set of four cards. I love the largest stamp in the set because you can colour it. I used Blendabilities but unfortunately these are no longer available. If you don't have any of these, you could use coloured pencils, Stampin' Write markers, or watercolour the image. I've included the video and a list of the items I used.
The card measurements are as follows:
Card Base: 2-3/4 x 8-1/2 inches, folded in half at 4-1/4"
1st layer (coloured cardstock): 2-5/8 x 4-1/8 inches
2nd layer (Whisper White): 2-1/2 x 4 inches
The finished card measures 4-1/4 x 2-3/4 inches so I used The Crafty Owl's Envelope Expert to find out the measurements to make an envelope.
I'm offering a class on Tuesday evening starting at 7:00 pm.
I don't have the cards designed yet but I promise you they will be lovely.
Vellum is a translucent type of paper often used on wedding invitations.
It is so versatile. You can stamp on it, colour it, heat emboss it,
glitter it, emboss it using the many styles of embossing folders, punch
it, curl it and make envelopes with it. In this class you will use a
number of these techniques to create 4 beautiful cards.
Duration: 3 hours Cost: $20.00
Register by visiting my Events page or email me. I would love to see you. You can also view some of the new SAB items.
At Christmastime or anytime, really, If you like to give away home-made treats or you pick them up from your favourite sweet shop or bakery, you may want to take advantage of this week's sale on packaging. From wax-lined boxes to cellophane treat bags, there are a number of discounted items available.
Click on the Weekly Deals tab above to see them. If I get enough interest, I'm happy to put in a group order; otherwise go ahead and order online.
There are four new items that have been added to Sale-A-Bration. Take a look at this flyer. Sale-A-Bration runs until the end of this month, so be sure to review your wish list for the Occasions catalogue and the SAB brochure to make sure you get all the things you want. As of April 1, these items will no longer be available.
I have a few new classes this month. Two Stamp Cafes, one on the 6, the other on the 20. These run from 10 - noon and you can make two cards. In the Stamp Cafe this Friday, you can make these two cards using the Crazy About You stamp set and coordinating framelits.
This Sunday, March 8, you can see the new SAB items and make four cards.
I'm introducing a Wednesday evening class the third Tuesday of every month. March 17 will explore the use of Vellum in your card making.
And last but not least, March 29 will be the 'back by popular demand' one-sheet wonder class.
More details for these events and registration can be found here.
Also coming up April 1, I'll be announcing my new Hostess Club. Stay tuned.
