Surprise Today

I got my orange box delivered today. Did you?
I'm so excited but I'm going to hold off opening it until Paper Pumpkin Club night Wednesday evening, September 23, 7:00 pm

Come join me and we can open our boxes together and start creating the project. It's also a great opportunity to share ideas for what else we can make with any left-over supplies. If you don't have the current month but have other kits lying around. bring them and get them started or finished. Let's have some fun together!

This Week's Specials

I would be remiss if I didn't let you know that the Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the Brights Candy Dots are on special until Tuesday, September 8.

Christmas is a glittery time of year so make sure you don't run out of rhinestones for your card-making. As for the candy dots, there are many uses other than adding them to the brad bases (which are super when adding a handle to a box). You can add them to create background elements on your cards. If you plan on ordering the Peaceful Pines stamp set, they would be fun to use to decorate those trees. They could also be used as berries in the following stamp sets: Joyful Season, Embellished Ornaments and Peaceful Wreath. And why not give the snowflakes in the Flurry of Wishes stamp set some interest. I like to use them for framing a greeting on a card (add one to the start and end of the greeting). I will list all of these products below.

Let me know if there is anything you want and I'm happy to place a group order on Monday evening.

Thank you everyone.

A Scrapped Card

I want to start making projects for my upcoming classes but my desk was a mess, mostly scattered with bits of paper, punched out item that I never used, bits of ribbon, etc.
I hate throwing anything away so I made the following card. I simply took some pieces and placed them randomly on the card front, rearranged the pieces and added some other items. To make the butterfly, I swiped the VersaMark stamp pad over a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. I then covered it with Heat & Stick powder and heat it with the heat tool. Immediately, white the paper was still warm, I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds over it and heat set it a second time. I then ran it through the Big Shot with the butterfly from the Bold Butterfly framelits.  I hope you try this method of designing a card of your own.

Holiday Catalogue, Videos & More

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is enjoying the new Holiday catalogue. How long is your wish list?
Please keep in mind that you can earn free products by hosting a workshop. Invite a few of your friends over to share your love of paper crafting. Many people I have met who say "I'm not interested" or "I'm not creative" are pleasantly surprised after they have had a chance to play with the products and are genuinely pleased with their finished project. You know how satisfying that is! And you also know how fun it is to gather your friends together, have some fun, have some wine.
I'm happy to host in your home or mine.  Just give me a call.

I wanted to share with you the video library that is available that showcases many of the items in the catalogue. Watching videos sometimes helps in making decisions in what you'd like to purchase. Here is the link.
I pre-ordered quite a few products and have been having fun making a variety of projects. It's all so fun and I have quite a few workshops already scheduled. Please check my Events page and sign up.

I'm open for the Stamp Cafe on Friday, September 11. Come and find out how to emboss window sheets to add some visual interest and texture to your next card creation. Here is a photo of the one I made. I need an RSVP so let me know.

Tuesday, September 15 from 7:00-9:00 pm is a class on how to use salt with watercolours to create an interesting background. Here are the cards you can make. Again, please RSVP.
