Mojo Monday Sketch #437

Hello everyone.
My apologies for missing a couple of weeks. I was away in sunny Arizona. Had a lovely time in Lake Havasu City (on the Colorado River). Gorgeous and hot! Got to wear summer clothes, yeah!

This week's design was fun  to do. It didn't take me long to create as I used the stamp set called A Nice Cuppa along with the coordinating framelits and paper stack which made coordinating the colours easier. The card design is square but I chose to make it an A2 size as I already had the Bermuda Bay card base made up. Now go and made one for yourself and email me your designs that I post to the Mojo Monday album on Flickr.

Here are the images:

Mojo Monday Week #4

Was today just not fabulous. We haven't had such beautiful sunshine and warmth in quite a while and I took advantage of it by going for a fabulous walk along Dallas Road with my hubby. Upon returning home I made this birthday card from today's sketch. I used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and Birthday Bouquet DSP. Now go make one this week and submit your photos.

Mojo Monday Week #3

Hello stamping friends,
I'm very happy that some of you are playing with these sketches and submitting them to me. I've updated the album which you can find here.

Are you ready for week 3? Here is the sketch:
And here is my card:
The products I used are listed below. I chose to use the patterned paper from the Love Blossoms paper stack and used Garden Green and Rose Red for my base colours over a Whisper White card base. For the central image, I took a piece of shimmery card stock and using an acqua painter, painted a pink ombre effect. I made sure it was completely dry before embossing the heart image (from the Bloomin' Love stamp set) in white. I then used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers in Rose Red and added some pearls. The hello sentiment was cut using the Greeting thinlits. I have to be sure to use these more often as I love the effect.

Set some time aside this week and go make one. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
