Last Thursday I spent a wonderful evening with Dale Hampshire, Manager for Stampin' Up! Canada, and the Canadian Strategy Summit team. I received this invitation, along with a few other local demonstrators, for a meet and great, stamp and eat evening. The summit team consists of several Independent Demonstrators from across the country. It's purpose is to meet once per year in a different location to brainstorm ideas on creating specific programs to benefit Canadian demonstrators.
We had some crafting fun making two cards designed by two of the team members and I'm posting the photos here to share with you. The two stamp set used were the Botanical Blooms and A Nice Cuppa. As we stamped away, two demonstrators presented us with some of their business strategies - so not only an evening of fun, but a learning opportunity as well.
We were completely taken aback with a surprise gift - a Stampin' Up! workshop apron with our names embroidered on the front. I'll be wearing it proudly the next time you come to one of my classes. And if this wasn't enough, we each received the new stamp set called '#imbringingbirthdaysback'. It's not in any catalogue so stay tuned for more details on this.
We later went for dinner where we ate great food, learned more about each other, shared tips, tricks and ideas. What a wonderful evening.
